This set, distributed in some parts of Europe by one of Chap Mei´s licensed partners, Simba was one of 2 sets containing the playset parts of a much bigger one (bigger than "Spinosaurus Camp Attack" play set).
The decision to "break it" into smaller sets was a smart move, since the original (and pretty hard to find) was selling for about US$150... some 5 years ago.
This set had a retail price of €25 (US$37), however we nailed it for about $15. Some of the "classics" can be found here. If you noticed the other tower and went "ahhh", sigh no more, it´s here too.
Nice display of parts. Sometimes I wonder how much CM spends on packaging alone.
This line was a considerable leap from Dino Quest.
Included accessories. Very basic.
Figure: Chief Running Bear. This figure, back then, was a must for Joe collectors. Still is, obviously, but by now, everybody has theirs.
Figure and parts display. These accessories have a good size for custom figures.
Dinos included. Carnotaurus and Dragonosaurus.
This tower has a decent detail. Not very fancy, but usable. With a little help, it may turn into something special.
Revolves 360º.
Operating the winch.
Plenty of space there... inside the wine barrel... mast basket... thing.
The scale is perfect. No doubts there. Pictured figure: A RAH G.I.Joe figure.
I particulary like the rock formation. And pretty much everything else was done quite decently.
