X-Men Origins - Deadpool and Maverick - Comic Series - Figures

 2 of the coolest figures from the 3 3/4" X-Men Origins: Wolverine series!

 We won´t be dwelling into the comic backgrounds for these figures, but rather focusing on their capabilities as 1:18 scale action figures.

 Notoriously well sculpted... for toys. Functional scabbards and holsters, fantastically scaled pistols and great rifles.

Figure: "Deadpool". A fan´s favorite.

 Downside, the non-removable scabbards. They can actually be removed, but you´ll have to cut them along with the utility belt.

 Figure: "Maverick". Unlike Deadpool, this figure doesn´t feature wrist articulation, so it sort of limits its weapon-holding efficiency. 

 BUT, the chest piece comes off, so these figures are tied in high potential.

Action shot. A must-have for 3 3/4" and toy figures collectors in general!

X-Men Origins - Wolverine Vs. Sabretooth: Back Road Brawl

Hasbro and their 3 3/4" mechanics again at work, developing new horizons for another iconic brand: X- MEN

 Great package insert, almost a diorama in its on way. A good one too.

 Included items: Motorcycle, Wolverine and Sabretooth.

Starting with the most impressive in terms of size (specially when compared to previous 3 3/4" line releases), Sabretooth. 18+ articulation points and magnificent sculpting and painting.

 Wolverine. The coolest (anti) hero ever. With bone claws and (non removing) hat. These 2 details are unfortunate flaws. Other than that, the already expected high detail.

Wolverine´s X-Men motorcycle. I´m not the biggest franchise fan, but I´m under the impression the guy kept snatching Scott´s bike... and girl...

Scale shots with a RAH G.I.Joe figure.

Almost perfect for this old line, and since the molds for this "X-Men origins" action figure toy line is pretty much equal to the new "Joes"... you can use it and interconnect at will.

As far as great angles go, these toys are cool as they can be, but playability surely suffers with the high amount of detail and materials used for the "collector" purpose.

X-Men X-Jet

A Toy Biz product, distributed in Western Europe by Famosa, this aircraft is a great asset for 3 3/4" figures enthusiasts.

Based on the SR-71 Blackbird, it´s an interesting variation.

The color is Cobra Blue, for "Joe" fans. very similar to the original Cobra Rattler.

Many cool angles here.

... And a great asset for your "Cobra Air Legions". Vintage or modern!

A lever is hidden inside the tail section...

Unfolding, the claw system works. Pretty ingenious, but as far as realistic usability goes, 0.

Engine air intakes are actually missile launching bays.

Thunderous sound and jet fly by are heard when pressing the triggers on this folding handle. The missiles include a great system: When fired, while passing by the launching rail, they activate their lights.

Landing gear. Now this is a disaster. Rarely works, and looks cheap.

Scale shots with Hasbro´s G.I.Joe RAH action figure. The cockpit was constructed for one X-Men figure, however it can hold two 3 3/4" figures.
