Star Wars Imperial Shuttle - UPDATED!

The 2002 Star Wars Return of the Jedi Imperial Shuttle was one of the most eagerly expected vehicles. A large... wait, LARGE vehicle with a great repaint and no electronics.

  The Imperial Shuttle is a Lamda-class shuttle used by the Imperial fleet to transport cargo and passengers. Many government officials prefer them because of their combat-worthy construction and large interior space.

Hasbro, 2002. A later re-issue included 2 figures. Emperor and Royal Guard.

Absolutely beautiful ship with stunning similarities to the models used for the movies.

 It is usually too big to be displayed with wings down, but if one can manage it, it makes an even greater impression.

The shuttles are outfitted with weapons, which allow them to travel without escort, thus preventing Rebels from determining whether a shuttle is transporting mere cargo or import officials.

Equipped with hyperdrives, Lamdba shuttles are capable of transporting passengers or materials between different fleets and star systems.

 Canopy opens and has room for 2 action figures. Ramp folds down.

 Features adjustable blaster cannons, tail gun and removable side panel reveals cargo area with a lot of room!

 One can fit a lot of figures here! Rebels or Imperials!

A-Wing Fighter w/ exclusive A-Wing Pilot

One of the best paint jobs during the first post 95 releases, including its pilot! The fastest ship in the feet... was not the Falcon, it was the A-Wing fighter! An absolute must for a true fan! 

"The A-wing is the fastest fighter we have, capable of matching a TIE Interceptor in speed."

Complete with box and instructions!

In comparison to the vintage 1985 "Droids" model, this one does NOT pack SFX. It is, however, the same mold and basically with a more "used" look. Outstanding craft!

Landing gear mechanism. Pushing the lever forward, drops the landing gear.

Cockpit opens by pushing the lever forward. A smooth opening, one should add.

Detail shots. Bottom right pictures shows the compartment for the batteries used with the original vintage A-Wing. This "remake" also comes with its place, but with no electronics.

A-Wing pilot. One of the best figures then (1997).

The A-Wing was a great interceptor fighter. Actually, it derives from the Jedi fighters. Well armed (2 concussion missile ports and 360º firing capability cannons ) it is a beauty to fly in Star Wars games.

STAP with Battle Droid

One of the coolest Star Wars Episode I small vehicles (and the actual first "Menace" release, although in a Sneak Preview package).

An excellent patrol and reconnaissance vehicle, STAPS are piloted by battle droids, which function as the Trade Federation´s personal drone army.

Complete parts view, unassembled.

The STAP is a small, mobile and rapidly moving craft outfitted with high-power dual laser missiles.

Including a handgrip (clear stand) to simulate hovering and flying, this craft is considerably detailed and like many of other Star Wars vehicles, very close to the actual movie models.

Articulated enough to perform needed poses, the funny loose articulation actually reminds the movie droids.

Features removable backpack.

Detail shots. The painting also helps to make this toy yet another great collectible.

Button under handgrip activates battle droid and fires missiles.

POTF2 Imperial AT-ST Tri-logo Edition

MINT loose AT-ST includes MINT pilot with weapons and original backcard (hologram version).

"The All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) was a bipedal walker used in rudimentary form by the Galactic Republic during the late Clone Wars and, later and more extensively, the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War".

aka "Chicken Walker", this is another one of the most cherished items in the Star Wars universe, due to the roll it had in the successful rebel raid in the Endor moon.

 Including "charging leg attack and rotatable gun turrets", this vehicle included the "stand or walk" options. Painting... the (then) new "dirty" look.

Episode I Sith Speeder w/ exclusive Darth Maul

The Phantom Menace produced a series of very cool figures and vehicles. Some more peculiar than others, but all original in concept (as expected) from Star Wars "magicians".

European edition of the Sith Speeder. A funny looking vehicle considering the character is was designed for. Looking like a scooter, it has however, the high maneuverability look.   

Included parts. Sith Speeder (with a hidden probe) and exclusive Darth Maul.

Launcher hatch opens to reveal probe compartment.

Button fires Sith Probe Droid.

Figure: Darth Maul. Knees bend, forearms rotate (not hands).

Figure accessories: Lightsabre and real cloth cape.

The more articulated features (remember this is 1999) allow the figure to be posed interestingly.

Saber fits front of vehicle to mow down enemies. Pretty cool!

Star Wars Landspeeder

From 1995, the POTF2 line. Another repaint of the original line of the 70s and one of the first 3 vehicles ever created and sold after "STAR WARS - A New Hope".

 

Luckly for collectors, they didn´t touch the mold in 1995 and just painted it really close to the movie vehicle. 

 

Pop-Open Hood!

With Shift-Action Running Gear. Wheel mechanism allows the vehicle to move like Luke and Obi-Wan´s arrival at Mos Eisley: Bumping in the air.

Death Star Escape MISB

Tri-logo edition (european). Re-create the movie action! 

With firing cannon and removable bridge!

Assembled view. A lot bigger than it seems. Great diorama and/or display piece.
