The Corps! Special Forces Bucks operative

Another fine example of Lanard´s 2005 Special Forces Teams.

 
Taller than most 1:18 counterparts, this Bucks figure came with a cool sculpting and another great weapon!

Sharing the same body construction of another Bucks specialist, this figure was presented with a hood over its head.

As years go by, some of these companies seem to develop their own style and keep on rockin´. Side by side, Lanard´s Special Forces figure and Chap Mei´s finest so far.

The Corps! Special Forces WASPS pilot

 A return to Lanard´s The Corps! brilliant 2005 toy line, with the closed helmet variant of Special Forces WASPS pilot!

With a cool weapon and very nice color scheme, this pilot will fly solo or with any WASPS partner.

MOC, 2005.

Unfortunately not removable, this pilot´s helmet not only looks good but realistic (for an action figure). The whole color scheme is indeed appropriate, especially if you think modern fighters.

Since their creation, Lanard´s 1:18 action figures were the low-cost best match for Hasbro´s G.I.Joe. Back in 2005 things were no different when the new Joes were redone in 2002.

Lanard´s weapons evolved a great deal since the 80s and 90s. These are fantastic!

A great companion for Chap Mei´s Soldier Force Devil Hunter.

The Corps! S.T.A.R. Force Rover

1998 "Planet Rover". Design may have been inspired by NASA´s Lunar Roving Vehicle (moon buggy).

Included items. The LRV, 3 figures (curiously more than major size vehicles) with respective accessories and a great figure stand with flag.

Included accessories. While weapons, backpacks and hand equipment are pretty much the same throughout "The Corps! S.T.A.R. Force" sets, some came with these awesome figure stands.

Figures: S.T.A.R. Force astronaut team members "2", "3" and "4".

The "Planet Rover". Holds 2 seated figures and you can manage to fit 2 more in the back, although the area is for equipment storage.

Detail shots. Observe the hole behind the seats. Backpacks go in there. The seats look "racing". Pretty cool.

The Corps! Special Forces

In 2005 Lanard launched "Special Forces" into the market, and another mix of repaints and new sculpts cool enough to grasp!

 
4 new teams, ORCAS, BUCKS, WASPS and ROOS were created.

Each team with a specific mission, included one previously released figure and 2 new characters.

All these were new then. And great looking figures too!

You have to love this pilot´s helmet with removable mask. Figure was later recolored to create Vulture and integrate Marauders team. Sadly with no mask.

For what it appears, this figure seems to be intended to have a movable visor.

Applications. These weapons are so incredibly cool. They were created for The Corps! Commando Force in 2003 and still today, probably some of the best around for 3 3/4" and 4" figures.

The Corps! Commando Force Sniper Scout figures

One of Lanard´s The Corps! best - ever - creations, the Elite Edition Commando Force Sniper Scout figures.

In 2005, Lanard picked up 4 characters from previous 2003 release of this Elite Edition series and included "snap on" camo!

The "Sniper Scouts" were Hawk (pictured above), John Eagle, Flashbang and Flashfire.

Nice, thin and detailed, one of the best out there. Reminds me a little of the 80s designs.
