Happy Children´s Day and 1000 posts Milestone!
It couldn´t be more perfect, 1000 posts on 1 June. Presenting some of the toys many consider to be "real" toys. Bump N Go memories of fun, lights and sound of the old days (loud and clear). Just a small preview of some of future reviews of our childhood´s real classics!
Toby, the walking and talking robot from 1986, with smoke system!
Half "Rambo" riding his Hero Tank (Wild-6).
"K.I.T.T." 1/16 scale Nite Racer.
Tumble Tractor with treads of amazing resemblance to G.I.Joe´s Cobra H.I.S.S. Strong and and working too!
Remember the sonic controlled R/C cars? Here´s a CW-311 Mercedes-Benz!
Toy State´s Dual Stick R/C Corvette, wire, not radio! Early 80´s style.
And how about a buttons-only 4 functions (4-way) R/C, with hinged headlamps? BMW Turbo.
A gigantic 1/10 Lincoln Police Car. With working microphone!
And talking about gigantic, a real beast! A Ford Taurus ambulance. Heavy... really (thick steel) heavy. Paya´s 0.5mm steel construction. Amazing siren sounds!
Late 70s Police Car. Back when they´d draw boxes, no photos. Dome lights and alarm sounds.
Emergency Team ambulance, tin made.
And how many of you remember these Flip-Over Buggy toys? These things could almost climb walls!!!
Enough about cars, the police bikes! Highway Patrol Motorcycle with detachable driver.
In the same style, the BMW Police Motorcycle, 1/8 scale.
And a really big one, 1/6 Police Jumbo Cycle.
All of these will have their spotlight here, and if any of you have a particular interest in that future review of any particular toy becoming closer in time, just let me know and I´ll make sure it´s sooner than later. All of these had their time and had a part in the past childhood of so many of us. I´ll be glad to show it again. And of course, many action figures to come too. And other vintage and modern classics!

End of an era, the start of another
Dear friends and followers,
As many of you may have noticed, JoMiToys was put on hold for a few weeks now. The fact had to do with a dramatic team reduction. For personal reasons, 2 of the original members had to suspend their "toy review" activities, leaving me alone with the honourable mission of bringing you many cool and some rare toys for the future until their uncertain date comeback.
Rest assured, JoMiToys quality will not drop a level and views and reviews will continue along the lines of our tradition starting today with a post which will blow you away!

Toy Trip!

We´ll be out of the office for the next 4 days. The reason is the best, we´ll be out hunting... for new toys. The trip will include Spain and France, and hopefully, we´ll bring back some hard to find sets. However, we´ll try to be on the horn whenever possible (and Wi-Fi available!).

Soldier Force VII - The real deal!
No, it´s not True Heroes, and yes, Chap Mei is still at it! Soldier Force is back and soon, their new vehicles and sets will be reviewed here at JoMiToys!
Soldier Force VII brings some new cool vehicles, and other than those shown above, listed, reserved and ready to be picked up are some smaller vehicles too. Can´t wait to see what those look like! Is it worth a trip to France? YES, it does!

We´re (finally) back!
Dear friends and followers,
After a long, long, LONG hiatus, we´re back to review action! Coming to the (logical) conclusion we were in desperate need of a bigger photo studio, it was designed and built during weeks. The best possible light set, background material and color to provide a most interesting result.
Coming up in the next days:

Diorama prototype for SWCP 2011 expo.
Along with on location shots of the actual diorama.

Almost through the dark tunnel and back to life!
Dear followers and friends,
Time is ticking and we´re almost back in business with great new stuff. A new and bigger photo studio will help to update those big sets such as Chap Mei´s Police Power Station Playset, Dino Valley and Soldier Force Haulers and so many others in such a need of a greater look.
To fill the gap in time from June 2nd to the day we "come back" in full throttle, we´ll update some of the previously reviewed smaller sets. But rest assured, it´s a matter of (few) days until new reviews are presented to you!
We thank you for you patience and continuous visits, making us proud to be part of your collector´s life.

Image database limit reached

Extended maintenance period
Dear friends and followers,
Following the small maintenance period of 16th through 17th of April, it was clear to us we do need to work on some interesting matters in order to open up a few more windows of interest for all of our visitors. So, we´ll extend the maintenance period until April 21st.
We apologize for the delay and hope (and somehow know) most of you will be delighted with some of the "upgrades".

A quick post to let everyone know that the reason JoMiToys is missing most of its original graphics is because Photobucket is doing some site maintenance. Photobucket is used to host most of our images, so unfortunately it affects our site.
Hopefully, their work will almost done and you´ll soon get your usual JoMiToys visual appearance very soon.

Trading items, conditions and references
Dear followers and friends:
As time goes by, we get more and more emails concerning trades and available items for sale. Well, while we are still rounding up some more ideas to build up a FAQ, here are some guidelines:
Available for trade items
Generally, you´ll see items as "unavailable" since they are part of our private collection. These are the pieces you´ll see in more detail as time goes by and new and better pictures are taken. However, there are lots of items to bargain for.
Items marked "available" can be traded for or even sold if you offer the right number. You can also access those items via label "4 trade" to your left under "categories". Constant additions, so keep checking to find that long lost item you need so bad.
Although eBay is turning somewhat different of what it was and should be towards sellers, (and if you use Paypal, that goes for buyers too) we´ll have some items there from time to time and we´ll show which in an appropriate label then.
Items we need
Since G.I.Joe is the backbone of our collection, we are looking for a few parts and accessories. If you need what we got and you got what we need, send us an e-mail and let us know about you.
If you´re interested, please email us for our trade lists in excel format.

Its always important to know who you trade with, and if you want something we offer, you´ll have to send your payment first, wether it is an item or any other form of payment, so eBay activity as a seller may serve as a reference to those who legitimally need it to ease their fears. Back on track!
We finally changed the servers and today, we will update the site with some good posts.
Also, the deadline for the silent auction will be changed in 15 extra days, since all this mess happened on July 29 and since then, the systems have been chaotic and many of our followers have been rightfully sad.
