Police Force Bad Machines Playset - Clawz

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Another fine example of the "Police vs Bad Guyz" premium design quality. Or variation of existing concepts...

For those familiar with G.I.Joe´s line, they certainly recall the 1991 "Badger". This CM "version" is very well done, even more "old school" G.I.Joe than the original.

Also including a II gen Chap Mei dirt bike, also seen in a different color scheme in the "Police Force Figure Playset - Officer Hammer" post.

Included items.

Included accessories.

Figure: "Snaky Drake". For more details, please refer to "Police vs Bad Guyz Figure Playset - Motor board" post.

A little more detail analysis on this dirt bike than its latest appearance here, it´s in fact a very nice vehicle.

In many aspects very close to the Yamaha´s XT line or Honda´s XRs like said before. If its scale was just a little bit closer to the 1:18 (as Maisto´s, for example) it would be PERFECT.

"CLAWZ". A great looking vehicle. Sweetly retro (for joe fans) and yet modern for all, the similarities to the ´91 G.I.Joe "Badger" are just too many to be ignored.

The missile system for one. Although the missiles are closer in design to the "Stellar Stilleto" 1988 vehicle.

The cabin "cage" is another, however with a different opening side (to the front). And obviosuly, the whole look, the whole body of the vehicle. But, "salut" to CM once again, for being able to come up with a plan to make this vehicle even cooler. Another ace from the Asian company.

Scale shots.

That machine would make a great vehicle for the 'Noks.

What´s going to be very cool is actually get to see how all these come together with the joes. After we review all sets and get some overall notion of what´s to come, THEN it will be party time.

And again, thanks, Luís. For all your support and comments.
