Goldlok Attack Helicopter

Since the only "Joe" AH64 Apache was the Desert Apache AH74... I always had this desire to customize a decent base mold. And I found that basis in this R/C chopper.

It´s an interesting set if you have time and A LOT of patience to draw a concept and follow it. This is a real challenge... but I will do it.

The contents. It has a lot of (if not most) good for nothing stuff, but if you have some extra drawers you may use them in something different.

The loose contents. The missiles can be fired via R/C and the chopper moves all around and has some interesting sound f/x. But plain truth? I got it for the plastic body.

As you can observe, it is somehow basic, but a designer eye catches not what something is, but what it CAN be.

The missiles can be fun to fire once or twice, but that´s it. HOWEVER... once stripped, the whole mechanisms can be used, like said before, in something else.

Tail section. The missile racks... better put... nests... are way off, but they´re going, so... no biggy.

Side view. And as you probably noticed before, there isn´t a decent landing gear. But that´s the least of my problems. The main task will be developing the cockpit.

This is a turn-on.

The headset, when switched on... makes your voice come out from the aircraft. Very basic, not as cool as the USS Flagg... but consider this... the whole set cost was US$15.

The whole thing... and I can´t wait to start wreckin´...

  2. Like the man said, don´t judge what your eyes see, imagine what it can turn out to be. Well, when it comes back fully customized, we´ll see.
