The first series of "Police Vs Bad Guyz" brought us many great playsets. And some great new figures as well. "Stinger Lloyd" was one of them.
These "figure playsets" were interesting. They were somewhat cheap and came filled with all accessories that figure could carry. Most too big, but some very useful.
Out of the box contents.
Here we can see the local "Destro".
View of all parts included.
The (then) new gatling gun, new weapons case, the flashlight (no batteries version) and a big bow.
This figure has a great, and I mean GREAT sculpt.
A respect-worthy figure. Striking fear in the hearts of chap mei civilians...
It´s interesting how CM are able to produce some cool looking figures filled with details and even some accessories... and then completes the packages with giant-looking guns. Well, could be worse. They could all be big.
Front and back shot. Filled with pegs and hooks to hold weapons and clothing.
A remarkable feature. It SEEMS they were trying some new articulation. And then they came up with that western line blowing it all to hell. But this can be a sign that they´re stepping into new areas.
The "joe-usable" accessories. A lot of potential. A perfect RPG and an interesting clothing. Boiling water technique... and pronto.
Bottom line: A must have figure.
Well, I'd to say that I agree when you said he has a "GREAT" sculpt. But I'd to replace his original arms with more articulated ones. I'd 2 of this guys and used the coat to make a custom that I sent to a friend o' mine.ReplyDelete
Never saw him as a "Destro", but you gave me a neat idea. From now on my Stinger Lloyd is the guns supplier of the Bad Guyz gang.
They need one'cuz in my universe Bad Guyz are a rival gang to the Dreadnoks and right now they are allied to the Headhunters that broke up with COBRA. I'm still missing 2 guys from the bunch of the BAd Guyz, the one with a orange mask and the Criss Kriss, or Swifth Blade.
Great choice for review.
