Marvel Legends and Chap Mei

Using X-Men Classics Stealth Cyclops from Marvel Legends, we are able to see just how notorious Chap Mei weapons and accessories may become not only for Marvel Legends figures collectors, but for G.I.Joe fans.

Some true artists have used these 6" figures to customize classic G.I.Joe characters for a while now. The results are truly great and examples are all around. Chap Mei may give the edge to some of them!

CM designs perfectly fit the G.I.Joe universe. And while most are too big to fit the 3 3/4" lines, when it comes to 6", one can confirm the exact opposite: Most fit!

Heavy weapons from Soldier Force lines, chainsaw from Police Force lines.

Rifles and SMGs from Soldier Force lines.

Even melee weapons from Legends of Knights.

Some of the bigger backpacks can be used and an array of weapons and accessories from Dino Valley/ Quest to Ninja series.

Status: Check CM Surplus Fan Markt for some of these and many other weapons and accessories for your Marvel Legends collection and customs.

Action Man ATOM Thunderquad 3000

A 2-in-1 vehicle to help the A.T.O.M. team defeat Evil Crime Lord Alexander Paine and his band of crooks!

Thunderquad 3000 is a cool looking vehicle with lots of playability. Which is actually, A.T.O.M. line premise.

As a quad, it has very decent lines, especially its front.

The coolest thing is its second form. A defense "mech", or battle suit.

It has a wheel-punch action activated when buttons are moved outwards. When releasing, wheels quickly go back into place. Fun. Very "Transformers".

As far as scale goes, it is actually too big for a 5" figure. And way too small for the original Action Man 12" line. Maybe Sigma 6 G.I.Joe figures could use it! For a perfect quad for these figures, be sure to check Chap Mei and Action Man Atom figures.

Star Wars Deluxe Snowtrooper

One of my very favorite Galactic Empire troopers in a Deluxe pack!

Nowadays, you have all articulated Star Wars 3 3/4" figures. In the 90s era, you had the 5 articulation points figures, and people went crazy for this one. All things considered, it was only natural.

The tripod mounted E-WEB heavy repeating blaster is a beauty.

"Keep your heads down or that E-Web will take them off!" The gun came complete with its own generator box (pretty cool) and it was actually one, if not the best looking (and working) accessory in the collection. The handles look great, figure stands very stylish behind it, pivoting revolving motions... what more to ask for?

Figure: Snowtrooper. If all good was said about the E-WEB, the same does apply to the figure. Ok, so it was done specifically for the mount, but why not create a figure that could actually stand without it? You need a stand to keep this figure from falling on it back. Sad. Great sculpt, though.

For G.I.Joe fans, this is also food for thought. The fact it looks like a conventional weapon and the hi-tech look makes it perfect for the Joe universe.

Blasting those joes!

POTF2 Boba Fett´s Slave I

"Slave I was a modified prototype Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft used by famed bounty huntersJango Fett and his cloned "son", Boba Fett. It was greatly modified with advanced weapons systems by both Fetts during their respective use". in http://starwars.wikia.com

Figure not included
One of the most cherished vehicles in Star Wars universe, this ship became famous from the very first appearance on screen during Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

Menacing look, and a very cool toy. 20% to 30% smaller than the new release, it may be out-of-date, but to me, and many other vintage toy admirers, you can´t recreate and compare. This is a sole survivor!

Long before Jango, the only Fett in town, was Boba. The lone bounty hunter and the most feared in the entire galaxy. And THIS is his ship, Slave I.

Action Man A.T.O.M. Night Ops Axel

Another great figure from a great line of toys by HasbroAction Man A.T.O.M. (Alpha Teens On Machines).

Excellent as a toy, and great as a figure, that´s pretty much what to expect from these 5.5" figures.

Figure and weapon, the included parts.

Accessory view. Highly detailed Sci-Fi pistol.

Figure: Night-Ops Axel.

Nice detail, very stable (big feet help a lot) and articulated enough to cover some of the common battle positions.

For a really cool look, we´ll always have Chap Mei

A big difference with the right weapons.

Chap Mei and Star Wars

While most of you use Chap Mei items with military lines, the truth is CM is a huge power source for many other lines. Another example, the universal hit, Star Wars.

"Imperial AT-ST  and  troops on Endor".

The trees with their platforms perfectly fit 3 3/4" figures as stands.

Or you can use them as a set background and also show off your collection.

You can reenact some of the scenes from the original trilogy. Some examples from Return Of The Jedi.

... or Empire Strikes Back.

 For your dio-stories.

In front or in the back, figures look more alive.

Your imagination fits Chap Mei... or is it the other way around?

Status: Check out CM Surplus Markt for many parts, accessories and figures you can use for your needs.
