Disney´s G-Force Training Lab Play Set

In our quest for usable items for 3 3/4" G.I.Joe figures, we took the risk and purchased the Training Lab Play Set from the G-Force line.

With lots of cool details for a Dr.Mindbender lab, the scale although smaller, could be used for its future purpose...

Included items. The assembled items and included figure.

G-Force movie figure, "Darwin". Voice by Sam Rockwell in the movie.

To quickly get around the actual toy and features, you can observe the lab tubes, screens, cylinders... nothing was left behind. They did a great job.

You get a turbo fan, all the little (now) common gadgets of a playset and basically, this all looks like a mouse amusement park. But it´s a Special Ops unit training place.

Now for our convenience, and especially after showing some pictures with a figure almost half the size of our 1:18 model, this may look too small.

As a whole, it was a bit disappointing, I sort of expected a direct adaptation, and even had Mindbender ready if that was the case.

You definitely can´t use this as a set for Cobra dioramas, and it´s a pity, since this reminds me of a scene from "Valor Vs Venom". But do not lose the faith if you can manage to get one of these.

Because even if you can´t use it as a whole, breaking it down to blocks, makes this set a very useful set of lab parts, which with a custom hand can easily be adapted.

In some cases, just raising the poles will do the trick.

If you find this for under US$12 new, like we did, I suggest you take it and arm yourself with some serious diorama items. We´ve been planning and designing a lab for Mindbender for a long, long time. And curiously, many of these parts will come in just perfectly.
